Acsean is a private fund managed by APS Asset Management Pte Ltd ("APS"), an asset management company licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore with over 30 years of track record founded by Mr. Wong Kok Hoi. APS manages assets for investors under Acsean, founded by Mr. Wong Kok Hoi and Dr. Wong Kien Keong. Together, they bring over 80 years of experience in building businesses, including successful asset management and legal firms from the ground up.

FOUNDER & CHAIRMAN

Mr. Wong Kok Hoi is the Founder, Executive Chairman and Chief Strategist of APS Asset Management Pte Ltd (APS). With 45 years of investing experience in Asia Pacific equity markets, he established ACSEAN Capital to invest in startups in the Southeast Asia/China region. Mr. Wong served as a Senior Investment Officer in the Asia Pacific Equities Department at GIC from 1981 to 1985. He held the position of Chief Investment Officer at Cititrust and Banking Corporation, Japan, from 1986 to 1990.

He also worked as a consultant to the Monetary Authority of Singapore from 1990 to 1991. During this period, he played a key role in helping the National University of Singapore establish Singapore's first endowment fund and served on its inaugural Endowment Investment Committee. As a Japan Monbusho scholar, he earned his Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from Hitotsubashi University.

Additionally, he attended Harvard University's Investment Appraisal and Management Program and is a CFA charter holder.

WONG KIEN KEONG

DIRECTOR & CO-CHAIRMAN

Dr. Wong Kien Keong is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse background in engineering, law, and corporate leadership. He holds degrees from MIT, Oxford, and Imperial College London and was a British Commonwealth Universities scholar for his PhD. He is qualified as a barrister in England & Wales, as well as an advocate in Singapore and Malaysia.

He began his career as an engineer and academic before transitioning to law, practicing for nearly 30 years as a litigator and later as a corporate and tax lawyer. Dr. Wong founded two law firms, Wong & Leow (Singapore) and Wong & Partners (Malaysia), which are part of Baker McKenzie International (BMI). He played key roles in BMI’s global strategic planning, Asia-Pacific leadership, and the development of its Venture Capital and Private Equity practice.

Beyond law, he has invested in startups and mentored entrepreneurs.
