The Rhodes Scholarships are postgraduate awards supporting exceptionally bright students from around the world to study at the University of Oxford, United Kingdom. It is the oldest and perhaps the most prestigious international scholarship programme in the world, with the aim of nurturing public-spirited leaders for the future. The Rhodes Scholarship for Singapore was suspended in 2006 due to funding constraints. APS Asset Management gifted a £4 million endowment to reinstate it in 2018, after a 13-year hiatus.
